Why do I love the beaches of Aruba so much?

Where do I start...

My wife and I spent our honeymoon in Aruba a few years ago. After eight glorious days of swimming, snorkeling, lounging, eating and sightseeing, we had to come home.

But the beaches of Aruba will always be in our hearts, and we plan on going back many times. And that's not unusual. Once you go to Aruba once, you will always want to go back.

Living on the East Coast, Aruba was far cheaper than Hawaii, and it was cheaper than most other Caribean Islands too. While we didn't choose an all inclusive Aruba vacation package, we did manage to bundle our airfare and hotel costs to save money.

The beaches of Aruba are full of amazing sights to see, including Baby Beach, Palm Beach, and the Natural Pool.

Aruba weather is always beautiful! It rarely rains, and the island is well outside of the hurricane belt. (That was pretty important to us since we were married during hurricane season).

There are so many things to do in Aruba. You can go snorkeling, scuba diving, horseback riding. Or you can try Sea Trek, and walk around 30 feet under water. If you want to try out the Aruba nightlife, there are plenty of casinos and nightclubs. And if all you want to do is lay out and enjoy the sun, well there's plenty of that too!

The island is safe and the people are incredibly friendly. Most of Aruba's income is made from tourism so they go out of the way to make you feel at home. In fact, Aruba's motto is Bon Bini...which means "Welcome!"

While the beaches of Aruba are indeed spectacular, the restaurants in Aruba are as well. Some of the finest meals I have ever eaten were in Aruban restaurants. You can find pretty much any kind of food you want, and it is all delicious!

This website is basically a journal of our Aruba vacation. As you read on I will tell you where we went, what we ate, and what we saw. I'll fill you in on all of the adventures and activities we enjoyed and share a few tips that we learned along the way. I'll even show you some of the amazing pictures we took while we were there.
